Pedro Pascal And Giancarlo Esposito Settle Custody Battle Over Baby Yoda Out Of Court
LOS ANGELES – A beaming Pedro Pascal was seen leaving the Metropolitan County courthouse with Baby Yoda Saturday after a long custody battle over Baby Yoda with "The Mandalorian" co-star Giancarlo Esposito, LA sources reported.
“We’re happy to report that the Child will stay with Mr. Pascal four days a week as my client retains primary custody,” said Pascal’s legal representative Sharon Clarkson. “Mr. Esposito and his legal team have agreed to weekend visits and overnight stays on alternating bank holidays. Both parties will keep their shelves fully stocked with the infant’s favorite foods: frog eggs, bone broth, spiders, and chowdered squid.”
According to eyewitnesses, the public court proceedings were often rife with tension, as Esposito and Pascal were both regularly patted down for laser swords and screeners of Wonder Woman 1984, respectively.
“Giancarlo accused me multiple times of being an unfit father,” said Pascal “He said that I regularly try to get Grogu wine drunk just to see what he’ll do. But he’s one to talk. I’ve seen him leave Baby Yoda in the sink three different times! One of them was even on purpose. I mean, yeah, there was that one time I let him play with my beskar spear. And that other time where I let him play with my twin blasters. Or the missile on my jetpack. Or all my grenades. But those were all one-time, isolated incidents.”
Despite their differences, lawyers and agents from both teams agreed that Baby Yoda’s many monikers made the court case confusing during litigation.
“Apparently we’re supposed to call it ‘The Child.’ Or Grogu? Hell if I know,” said Judge Nathanael Mackey. “It all runs together for me. I hate Star Wars. At one point someone brought up a guy named Babu Frik and I thought I was having an episode.”
At press time, rumors had begun to circulate that Carl Weathers and Bill Burr started building their own case for joint custody of Baby Yoda.
